Westchester

Westchester is home to LAX, one of the busiest airports in the world and central to a large aviation industry. Around the airport you'll find lots of hotels and car rental lots. But north of the airport you'll find a predominantly residential neighborhood that's quiet and peaceful (with the exception of airplane noise) that was one of the largest housing tracts built in California. Loyola Marymount University sits on one of its hills overlooking the city and creative types can hone their craft at the Otis College of Art and Design.
